Over the last few months, I have had the opportunity to acquire a couple of new pieces of gear. The equipment selection was not to satisfy the I need of a shiny new toy, but the goal of each purchase was to improve my diving experience. When selecting new gear for SCUBA diving, you need to look at the purchase with a methodology in mind.
Have you ever driven, ridden, walked by a dive site, or what you think could be a dive site; that you have not explored yet? What’s stopping you from trying? Knowledge, courage or ambition? For me, one site, in particular, was preparation.
Don’t pack away your dive gear just because the water starts to get a little cold.
Embrace the rush of adrenaline as you slip below the surface and get enveloped into the darkness. Dump, exhale, descend, stretch yourself, and explore something different.
